"Making sense of EU" is a podcast created and produced by the Institut d’études européennes (IEE) of the Université libre de Bruxelles, in which scientific research sheds light on the pressing issues of EU affairs. This 3rd series, NAVIGATOR, explores European efforts to navigate multilateral cooperation, as a part of the Horizon Europe NAVIGATOR project, co-funded by the European Union.
In an increasingly complex and fragmented governance context, NAVIGATOR examines the strategies available to the EU to promote a rules-based international order, raising crucial questions: which institutional spaces to strengthen, which to reform, and which to bypass? With an interdisciplinary team of international researchers, NAVIGATOR focuses on six priority areas: climate change, digitalization, finance and taxation, health, migration and security.
