#61 David Rudisha [EN] - Talking to a track & field legend
My guest this week is David Rudisha, the best 800m runner ever! David is the world record holder (1:40:91) and a two-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion in the 800m.
I met David at the World indoors in Glasgow where David was the ambassador for the competition.
In this episode, David told me about his love for the 800m and about his world record race at the London Olympics. I asked him if he thought he owed his talent to his dad who won an Olympic silver medal in the 4x400m at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, and if he wished he'd won a 3rd consecutive gold at the Tokyo Olympics.
You’re listening to the original interview in English but the interview is also available dubbed in French for those of you who understand French better than English.
Enjoy!
