That evening, the sky was turning all orange, like a mandarin: it was the end of the day. And in front of the school's big blue gate, someone was waiting, right on time, as always, as promised. There's the slide and taking turns, the paint that stains, the tiny crumb tasted on the tip of the spoon, the shy friend who became a real one, the zip finally done up on her own.
