{SÉLECTION} #16 - Marc de Garidel, CEO Abivax, Take risks to build something meaningful
In the fascinating world of Pharma, a visionary and pragmatic man, @Marc de Garidel, stands out. His journey began in a down-to-earth family, setting the stage for an extraordinary adventure.
Careers are rarely planned, but his appetite for adventure emerged early:
He launched Amgen in Europe.
He developed Ipsen in the United States.
These initial steps marked the commencement of an incredible journey in the pharmaceutical world, teaching him how Pharma truly operates, especially regarding access today.
Then, he embarked on a more entrepreneurial path as the CEO of biotechs:
Corvidia Therapeutics, sold to Novo Nordisk in August 2020.
CinCor Pharma, sold to AstraZeneca in February 2023.
Currently, he is the CEO of Abivax.
This experience taught him that taking risks fuels innovation, and every failure is a step towards success.
Today, as the CEO of Abivax, Marc shares his wealth of experience with the Pharma community. His story is an invitation to embrace the unknown, confront challenges with courage, and see every opportunity as a new adventure.
Marc encourages bold minds to pursue their passions, dare to take risks, and view every obstacle as a step towards success.
Marc is a passionate individual, a grounded soul unafraid to dream big for patients.
His legacy serves as a timeless reminder that adventure, wisdom, and courage constitute a potent trio for those aspiring to push the boundaries of medical innovation.
