No matter how soggy things get, the two friends keep their good humour and never once give up on the poor little cloud.

Through all the soggy mishaps and the puddles, the kingdom never once loses its good humour, and the little cloud is treated with patience and gentleness rather than any crossness. In the end, it is a warm hug and a shared giggle that work far better than any clever remedy at all.
