Ep. 111: Book I Recommend — Backable by Suneel Gupta
This book is technically about how entrepreneurs pitch investors and get them to say yes. But don’t let that fool you — it applies to anyone who’s ever had to get somebody on board with something. (It could be a presentation, a volunteer opportunity, or just a family trip.) Suneel Gupta went through the ringer learning how to pitch, and failed badly at first. But he figured out what actually works, and got really tactical about it. As long as you translate things to your areas of growth, there's some great content about leveling up mentally and emotionally, plus some counterintuitive ways to get a room engaged. I think anyone who gives any kind of presentation should hear these strategies.
