Jerry Vinci - Senior Housing Investing Explained: What Most Investors Overlook

Is senior housing one of the next big opportunities in real estate investing? With baby boomers aging and a projected shortage of 370,000 senior housing units by 2030, demand for senior living communities could create significant opportunities for investors.

In this episode of the Real Estate Educators Podcast, Kevin Amolsch sits down with Jerry Vinci, a senior living marketing and operations expert with more than 30 years of experience. They discuss what makes senior housing different from traditional rental properties, why occupancy and operator performance matter, and how investors can evaluate opportunities in this growing sector.

Jerry also breaks down the different types of senior housing, the challenges of developing new communities, and ways investors can get involved through REITs, syndications, and partnerships. Plus, Kevin and Jerry discuss the value of networking, personal development, and planning ahead for aging family members.
