High-yield credit – A source of diversification and returns

Portfolio Manager Stef Abelli of the Euro high-yield credit team and Chris Iggo, Chief Investment Officer, AXA IM Core, discuss the outlook for high-yield corporate bonds as well as the diversification opportunities across sectors and industries and the improved quality the asset class offers. Even in the face of higher market volatility, liquidity has remained high, Stef notes, adding: “Investors are looking for yield wherever they can get it. And the asset class has matured enough to be more and more attractive to a wider range of investors.”
